What is Tilly’s Letters

Tilly’s Letters is designed as a small monthly ritual for families. Each delivery introduces a gentle story featuring Pickles and his friends, brought to life through illustration, letter writing, food, and making. Everything is designed to be shared, kept, and returned to.

Meet the characters

Each letter centres around Pickles and his friends Penny and Binks, with gentle recurring storylines that unfold month by month. The characters offer different ways of being, so children can recognise themselves and feel confident in who they are.

  • Pickles the hedgehog

    Curious, thoughtful, and observant, gently determined and always willing to try, noticing small details as he moves through each task with care.

  • Penny the pixie
