What is Tilly’s Letters?
Tilly’s Letters is a monthly subscription of thoughtfully designed post for families. Each envelope is filled with illustrated cards, gentle prompts, simple recipes, and screen-free activities. They are made to be opened slowly, shared together, and kept long after they arrive.
It is not just something to do. It is a small ritual that arrives by post.
What ages are the letters for?
Our letters are designed by age and stage.
Little Wanderers is designed for children aged 2–6, with story-led letters, playful activities, and hands-on moments to share together.
Future collections for older children are coming. As well as Little Beginnings which is launching soon.
Little Beginnings is created for babies from birth to 12 months, supporting parents through their baby’s first year with milestone cards and memory prompts.
What arrives each month?
Each month, a single envelope arrives through your letterbox.
Inside, you will find a small collection of beautifully printed cards. Depending on your subscription these may include illustrated story or milestone cards, letters to read together, creative activities, and simple, child-friendly recipes. Some months include a small tactile surprise, tucked in for delight.
Everything is designed to feel calm, intentional, and keepsake-worthy.
How often will we receive letters?
Letters are sent once a month.
They are spaced to give you time to enjoy them without rushing. There is no pressure to complete everything. Some families open everything at once. Others return to the cards slowly across the month.
Both are perfect.
When are letters posted?
Letters are posted during the first week of each month.
Delivery times may vary slightly depending on location, but most envelopes arrive within a few days of posting. If you join mid-month, your first letter will be sent with the next scheduled mailing.
Is this a subscription?
Yes. Tilly’s Letters is a monthly subscription.
You can pause or cancel at any time. Your letters will simply stop arriving when you ask them to.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes.
You can manage your subscription through your account whenever you need to. Pause, resume, or cancel with ease. No penalties, no awkward goodbyes.
Can I give Tilly’s Letters as a gift?
Yes. Gifting is a big part of what we do.
You can purchase a digital gift certificate, which is perfect if you need something thoughtful straight away. The recipient receives a beautifully designed notification, so they know something meaningful is coming, even before the first letter arrives.
It makes giving feel considered and complete.
Will the child’s name appear on the letters?
Yes.
All Little Wanderers envelopes are personalised with the child’s name as standard, along with a gentle “Open Together” cue. It is a small detail that helps the moment feel truly theirs.
Are the activities messy or complicated?
No.
Activities are designed to be simple, flexible, and achievable with everyday materials. They are invitations rather than instructions. Nothing needs to be perfect. The focus is on presence, not performance.
Are the recipes suitable for children?
Yes.
Recipes are intentionally simple, child-friendly, and designed to be made together. They focus on mixing, noticing, tasting, and sharing rather than technical cooking skills.
All ingredients and steps are clearly laid out.
Is everything screen-free?
Yes.
Every part of Tilly’s Letters is designed to be enjoyed away from screens. There are no apps, QR codes, or digital extras required.
Just paper, ink, hands, and time together.
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver within the UK and internationally.
Each envelope is carefully packed and sized to travel safely by post.
What if a letter does not arrive?
If something goes missing in the post, please get in touch.
We will always do our best to make it right.
